Hello Forum; The other day I started my Savage and I heard a strange whirring sound along with the engine noise. I soon realized the starter was still running, so I shut down immediately! When I turned the ignition back on, the bike started automatically and the starter kept running, whirrring along with the motor. Was ist los?? Donnerwetter!!! After checking around in different places I discovered the starter button was stuck in. I picked it out with my fingernail and all was well. I have since tried to make it stick (ignition off) but so far it has not. This may never happen again, and it does not seem to have caused any damage, but I now I keep a wary eye on that button evry time I start the bike. Did this ever happen to anybody else? Frank M.
